Occupational Therapist/Advanced Practitioner Position Available

Location: Norfolk

About the Role:

We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist/Advanced Practitioner to join our clients team based in Norfolk. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in providing rehabilitation-focused treatment to individuals with a range of complex needs, including learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders, personality disorders, and mental illnesses. You will work closely with our clients multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans, facilitate group and 1:1 sessions, and support patients in achieving greater independence.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct occupational therapy assessments and interventions for individuals and groups.
Develop innovative interventions to enhance patients’ skills development and social inclusion.
Provide line management/supervision to occupational therapy assistants.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience.
Experience in mental health, learning disabilities, secure, or forensic settings preferred.
Strong interest in working within the field of secure forensic learning disabilities.
Reflective, self-aware, and able to use supervision effectively.
Self-motivated and eager to learn.
